BOYS – Beaumont’s Bold Brushstroke

The Cup semi-finals featured the cream of the crop: Beaumont, Bishops, Kenridge, and Gene Louw.

Semi-Final 1
Beaumont edged a tense encounter with Gene Louw, as Benjamin Ludick delivered the game’s only goal to secure a 1-0 win.

Semi-Final 2
It was a rematch of the 2024 final as Kenridge met Bishops.

  • Zach Joseph struck twice for Kenridge.
  • Oliver Schultz and Oliver Thomalia responded for Bishops.
At 2-2 after full time, Bishops held their nerve in the shootout to book back-to-back final appearances.

Bronze Medal
Gene Louw bounced back from semi-final heartbreak, winning their own shootout to claim bronze over Kenridge.

The Final
The decider was a scriptwriter’s dream.

  • Luca Aweh put Beaumont ahead.
  • Max Wides levelled for Bishops with a perfectly executed penalty corner variation.
Then, in the dying seconds, Owen Pieterse delivered the winner—a final stroke on Beaumont’s championship canvas.

Final Score: Beaumont 2-1 Bishops – a title seized in dramatic style.

Semi-Final 2
Stellenbosch showed their class, sweeping past De Hoop 3-0 with goals from Liza Fouché and a brace from captain Nina Swanepoel.

Bronze Medal
Outeniqua edged a 1-0 win to seal their spot on the podium.

The Final
Played in wet, windy conditions, Stellenbosch struck first when a penalty corner from Liza Fouché was deflected into the Sweet Valley net. But Sweet Valley hit back—Katie Paxton’s goal-bound PC was saved by the keeper and put in the goal box by Kayla George to level things up.
With no further goals, the shootout loomed large, and Stellenbosch held their nerve to lift the Cup.
